Sherman Island Spring Clean-up
Saturday, April 25, 2026, 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM
This is our start of season clean-up. Volunteers pick up trash along the levee from the powerlines to the County Park. RVWA provides water and snacks for volunteers and trash bags and a dumpster for the trash. Meet at the sign and bring a pair of gloves to protect your helping hands!
Sherman Island Sandbag Launch Maintenance
Saturday, May 23, 2026, 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Meet at the sign and wear clothing to protect you from the scratchy sandbags. Long sleeves are best if you’re working with bags. We will need some trucks to move bags around to the various launches on Sherman Island. Water and snacks will be provided. Of course, all materials for sandbags are provided by RVWA. Each bag costs RVWA about 10 dollars including the gravel to fill it. We really appreciate our wind sport community coming out to support our efforts to provide safe launches.
RVWA Swap Meet

This is a great opportunity to sell your used gear. Clean out that closet, garage, storage unit. Also, buy your RVWA Membership! We will have a table at the Swap Meet. Support us, supporting you!! We promote continued river access at Sherman Island. As always, we are working to make the Delta a safe and happy place to do our wind and water sports.
