The Rio Vista Windsports Association

The Rio Vista Windsports Association, RVWA, is a community of windsurfers, kiters, and wingers that enjoy the consistent winds on Sherman Island located between the Sacramento - San Joaquin Rivers near Rio Vista, CA. We are a non-profit organization represented by a volunteer Board of Directors.

RVWA protects and enhances your wind sport lifestyle by advocating for site access, coordinating with agencies, and maintaining Delta launch sites. Keeping your favorite spots open and in shape takes ongoing effort—and a well-organized community! Membership dollars are spent improving launches with Kevlar sandbags, providing portable restrooms and organizing annual river cleanups.
